One of the first Chilean producers to export to major wine markets, Undurraga also dominates the domestic market. This family-run winery in the Maipo Valley dates from 1885, and today is a massive facility producing more than one million cases. Its vineyard holdings include 150ha (370 acres) in the Maipo Valley, but it also buys in grapes grown under contract in Colchagua and other areas. Exports represent more than 40% of production, and are headed by Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc. Merlot and Pinot Noir are recent additions to the list.
