Producers

The northern vineyards divide between the DOC areas of Vinho Verde and the Douro. The best Vinhos Verdes are made and bottled by individual quintas. Port producers use new techniques to make soft red Douro table wines from port grapes, and balanced, dry white wines from white grapes grown in the higher, cooler margins of the Douro.
