Which Wines To Decant?

Some red wines and white wines need to be decanted while some other wines should not be decanted. Very old red bordeaux and burgundy (stand bottles up for 24-48 hours prior to serving to let deposit settle), mature white wines except those listed above, young white wines, sparkling wines.
