An ambitious project of 32ha (79 acres) in Wairarapa, Te Kairanga produces fruity Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon, a fresh, unoaked Chardonnay as well as a barrel-fermented Reserve Chardonnay, a barrel-fermented Sauvignon Blanc and a light red called Nouveau Rouge, a blend of Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon and Durif (California's Petite Sirah).
