Styles here have evolved from fortified wines to what is now unashamedly French, with honeyed Chardonnays, barrelfermented Sauvignon Blanc, and a classic Bordeaux-blend red of 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Cabernet Franc and 20% Merlot. The winery, owned by the Brajkovich family, still uses Auckland grapes.
